1. Working principle:

-Sandblasting: using compressed air or high-pressure gas to spray abrasive onto the surface of the workpiece, relying on the impact and cutting effect of the abrasive to clean and roughen the surface of the workpiece.
2. Application scope:
-Shot blasting: mainly used for cleaning and strengthening metal surfaces, suitable for batch processing and automated production, commonly used in industries such as casting, forging, and mechanical processing.
-Sandblasting: mainly used for cleaning and roughening the surface of chemical parts for subsequent painting, electroplating and other processes, suitable for processing small batches and complex shaped workpieces, commonly used in maintenance, mold cleaning, art restoration and other fields.
3. Effect:
-Shot blasting: can achieve a relatively uniform cleaning effect, has a certain strengthening effect on the surface of the workpiece, and is suitable for improving the fatigue strength and corrosion resistance of the workpiece.
-Sandblasting: It can achieve high surface roughness and is suitable for enhancing the adhesion of coatings, but it has a significant impact on the surface of the workpiece, which may cause deformation or damage to the workpiece.
