Main Functions

1.Leveling: The core function of the leveling line is to flatten metal sheets. This is achieved by passing the metal through a series of leveling rolls that apply pressure and bending forces to correct any distortions.

2.Cutting: Many leveling lines are equipped with cutting devices that can shear the flattened metal sheets to specific lengths or widths.

3.Recoiling or Stacking: After leveling and cutting, the metal sheets can be recoiled or stacked for further processing or storage.

Working Principle

1.Uncoiling: The metal coil is first unrolled by an uncoiling unit. Tension control systems are typically used to ensure the metal sheet maintains the appropriate tension during the leveling process.

2.Leveling Process: The metal sheet passes through a leveling machine, which contains multiple sets of leveling rolls. By adjusting the spacing and pressure of these rolls, the machine can correct the shape of the metal sheet.

3.Cutting: If required, the leveled metal sheet is then cut by a shearing machine. Different types of cutting methods, such as flying shears or disc shears, can be employed.

4.Stacking or Recoiling: The final product can be stacked or recoiled, depending on the subsequent processing needs.
